Landscape
Photography
Mini Guide

A short, practical guide to seeing,
planning and creating better landscape photos.

What's inside the guide?

Four chapters covering everything from how I spot a composition to how I edit my final image.

01

Vision

Learning to see compositions everywhere. Reverse thinking. Wide vs telephoto eyes.

02

Planning

Light, locations, and the apps I use to plan every shoot. PhotoPills, weather, scouting.

03

In the Field

Composition rules that actually matter. Wide-angle technique. Bad weather. Night skies.

04

Editing

The vision behind the edit, not the techniques. How I think before touching a slider.

Albert Dros
About the photographer

Hi, I'm Albert.

I'm a landscape photographer based in the Netherlands and a Sony Imaging Ambassador. I've been shooting professionally for over 15 years and leading photo tours around the world.

This guide is the short version of what I've learned working with hundreds of photographers in the field. The patterns I've seen people get stuck on, the techniques that actually move the needle, the way I think when I'm out there.
